  1. Select a team of 4-6 people
  2. Choose a topic for the game
  3. Choose the roles of:
    1. score keeper
    2. time keeper
  4. Timing
    1. 12 rounds
    2. 2 minutes long each
    3. each round next person takes a turn
  5. Actions on each turn:
    1. place a Point of Interest (POI),
      1. can be a goal
        1. homelessness
        2. local business success
      2. concern
        1. anything related to the topic of the map
      3. how can it be measured?
        1. for crime that can be police reports monthly
    2. place a cause way (CW) towards or between POIs
      1. for example, more homelessness causes more crime
    3. validation of POI or CW
      1. by majority of voted
    4. Scoring
      1. 2 points
        1. if POI is valid and measurable
      2. 1 point
        1. if POI or CW is valid
      3. 3 points
        1. second CW pointing towards a POI
          1. POI gets a gold star
      4. 10 points
        1. when 4 CWs are placed closing a loop
      5. after 12 rounds
        1. a player with most points wins
        2. count the number of POIs (breadth of the map)  
        3. count the number of gold stars 
          1. number of gold stars / breadth of the map = depth of the map (>0.2 is good)
