- DGroups - a hosted forum service with email list and web storage of messages, files and member directory. Intended for international development. - Google Groups - Free, ad supported forum with full email capability, web pages
- Yahoo Groups - Free, ad supported forum with full email capability, member directory, file storage, web pages and simple polls
- OnlineGroups.Net (http://onlinegroups.net) provides email lists with a web forum interface that support file-sharing and chat. Groups are on their own website with no ads. Sites with only public groups are free.
- GroupServer (http://groupserver.org), the software that powers OnlineGroups.Net is available free and open source.
