Introduction
This project is moving towards a minimum viable product for scaling the evolution of collective intelligence and eventually of the Global Subject. The first step is development of the Semantic Coordination of P2P Collective Intelligence.
This coordination can be realized only within a Unified Conceptual Space which is being prototyped on LikeInMind.

Motivation
Global Sustainability / Global Thrivability
We live in times of multiple crises, biological, ecological, technological, economical, socio-political. Those crises spread globally and are interconnected with each other within a more general concept of Sustainability. The cause of crises is seen mostly in misalignment of the systemic nature of sustainability with disconnected processes and flows and discoordination of acting forces at all scales.
Conscious Evolution
Conscious evolution suggests that humanity is conscious of its history and of how things evolve (evolutionary consciousness), and given the rapid pace of change in society and culture, humanity can (and should) choose advancement through co-operation, co-creation and sustainable practices over self-destruction through separateness, competition, and ecological devastation.
Divide between regions & communities that are inundated with information noise vs. regions & communities isolated from basic and beneficial information and divide between communities that are able to transform of information into knowledge vs. those that are not. Evolution of Planetary Consciousness
Consciousness is emerging in systems of higher degrees ofcomplexity,systemicity (interconnectedness) and interdependence. "a high value of Φ (system’s overall informational integration -DVS) is a necessary condition for a correspondingly high level of phenomenal consciousness" -What is It Like to Be a Group Agent
Same seems being true to any cognitive system, including but not limited to aCollective.Collective Consciousness requires interdependence of participants of a Collective. Examples can be found in rising collective self-awareness and the ability to cooperate, as well as support each other when facing dangerous and life-threatening situations. But to rise our collective consciousness we do not have to wait for these kind of situations. The concept ofConscious Evolution suggests a way to evolution driven not only by external factors of a Collective but by the Collective Consciousness as a Whole.
The overall information integration is not only an ability to receive any needed information, but mostly to have what is needed at each period of time, where it is ranked and arranged by its importance of it's current context. I.e. the information must be properly expressed for the better "digestibility" and also filtered from the information and emotional "noise" (meaning that "positive emotions" must be allowed and probably even amplified). To have right information delivered to right people at right time, it has to be arranged within a single "Unified Conceptual Space", UCS. Ideally, all the flows of information, resources, conversations, etc. should be registered at UCS. Missing chunks of data, information and knowledge, as well as suggestions to contact competent experts and active processes will be provided by the help ofCognitive Assistants.
Planetary Consciousness is extension ofCollective Consciousness into Global scale.
Global Subject
Our World as a Superorganism is one of the models addressing the required wholistic view on the problems as well as systematic and systemic actions towards finding and realising the adequate solutions. To be capable of the adequate changes towards itself, this superorganism must demonstrate all the features of a Subject: consciousness, including self-awareness and self-reflection, and agency. As a superorganism it must consist of the numerous and various Subjects grouped in teams, businesses, organisations and other collective entities. These entities are capable of distinguished and separated consciousness and agency. They can be called Collective Subjects. According to the Systems Theory, those consciousness and agency must spread over a scale even larger than the processes they are called to influence, manage or control. The Subject required for the changes must also be of the Global scale. It must be a Global Subject, yet to emerge and evolve to a certain level of development.
Collective Subjects and Group Agents
While describing similar processes, Collective Subject term is emphasising a unity of Individual Subjects while Group Agency is focused on groups consisting of individuals. In first case we start from assumption of Unity while in second case from a free will of participants. Both approaches are equally important at facilitation of emergence of Collective Consciousness followed by Conscious Evolution of our Collective up to the Global scale.
When we start operating as a Collective Subject, our cognition will be organised as interdependent modules with each of the participants taking a role mostly suitable to his abilities and feelings. We will have roles on data collection, data processing, analysis and categorisation, etc. up to the decision making.
Distributed Knowledge Management of Complex Systems
A Unified Operating System (Uos / uOS) for the Planet which is to be based on Integrated Augmented Collective Intelligence. The uOS will have a dynamically restructuring network layout to reflect a need in centralisation to address the large scale and distribution for the local processes. The P2P Collective Intelligence (P2PCI) platform provides mapping and coordination of distributed resources and efforts in real time and space, which is one of the current limiting factors of managing knowledge of complex systems. In Knowledge Management we believe that not technology but people is the major barrier to knowledge sharing. Providing Cognitive Assistance and other tools will lower this barrier. A distributed knowledge management system will be able to provide the required visibility and connectivity of those resources. Data Commons include but are not limited to the mapping of organisational ecosystems.
Data commons co-locate data with cloud computing infrastructure and commonly used software services, tools & apps for managing, analyzing and sharing data to create an interoperable resource for the research community. Due to the enormous amount of data, decentralised character and limitations of resources of individual researchers and even large research organisations, a Holistic Research can be realised on the principles of open access to data and data commoning. Private, sensitive and confidential data require protection and accurate governance. Purpose of the Governance of Data Commons is protection of the private, sensitive and confidential data at providing access of collective intelligence for research and sustainable development. Data are protected by the Data Commons Licenses. Alternatively data are made open to public and governed by the Open Data Commons Licenses.
P2PCI platform will provide methods and techniques of Peer-to-Peer Communication and Collaboration towards a Collectively agreed and selected goal(s), as well as the technological means to the collective intelligence and decision making. Technological means that they can be reliably reproduced by normal people with no or minimal training, as close to the “push a button, get result” status as possible. We should distinguish between technological fundamentals and conceptual frameworks (scientific or practical, natural or engineered), the technology is built upon. Technology cannot be built on a theory which is not Grounded. Studies with no grounded data or of principally abstract character can still be performed if thought strategically critical or important and/or chosen so done by individuals or collectives on their risk and responsibility.
Mapping can be done in a number of ways. Associative and Semantic Mapping are the most relevant to the scope of this project. Both mapping processes may result in building the Associative and Semantic Networks accordingly. Semantic mapping requires descriptions of the relations between the nodes. It is often required for data prepared for the machine processing and analysis. Associative mapping is based on linking relevant nodes only and therefore less labour intensive. The right human-machine mix is seen when associations put by humans are enriched by the semantic metadata in a semi-automated way as a process of learning from an agent or an operator.
Semantic linking is a current common practice within the clusters of different ecosystem mapping. It is labour intensive and requires augmented intelligence added as soon as possible. However, whether it is to be replaced by the associative mapping or not while waiting for that option is to be decided by a community of the mappers. In order to address it properly, we should start working together on the mapping and see what the community wants and needs. Associative mapping is more suitable for the collective memory filled manually (Associative Memory). Virtual Assistants (VA) will help greatly with transferring associative networks into the semantic ones. We may need to see what is to happen at what stages and act accordingly. What is our Minimum Viable Product (MVP)? Requirements to it? For both semantic and associative mapping we need either agents or VAs doing that job. What to be done and at what stage will be defined by our Minimum Viable Process (MVprocess).
According to the Grounded Approach in research and Agile principles of development, both ways of mapping should take place in parallel with development of the P2P Collective Intelligence platform. Most likely, we should prepare ourselves to the situation of the “Triangle of Frustration” where we have to "choose two" of the triad: understanding of design and functioning + accuracy (controllability) + complexity of the desired function. Still, like any other tool, Augmented Intelligence based Virtual Assistants will allow to solve problems of the higher complexity. That will be done by matching processes in real world with the control and governance processes in the "virtual model of the World", as well as by means of the distributed P2P Economy that will buffer the shocks caused by artificial disasters and allow survival of the whole economy for the time of recovery. Those principles of P2P Economy are thought to play an important role in post-capitalist, post-socialist and other economic formations.
P2P Economy will be one of the spheres of the local P2P Collective Intelligence, alongside with the Planetary Intelligence in Global scale. P2P Collective Intelligence and Planetary Intelligence are a single interdependent process of providing Global Sustainability for the whole Planet. We are talking here about a Planetary Operating System (plOS) to be based on Integrated Augmented Collective Intelligence. The plOS will have a dynamically restructuring network layout to reflect a need in centralisation to address the large scale and distribution for the local processes.
The "virtual model of the World" will be based on the Holistic Ontology being currently prototyped on LikeInMind. Experience of running LikeInMind suggests that Collective Memory can be a "medium for thought". Memory is a process of building Personal Virtual Associative Networks (PVANs) within a Unified Conceptual Space (UCS). The essence of memory is in interconnection of collaboration processes and all required components, people, resources and flows, of many if not all possible ecosystems and platforms.
Holistic Ontology would have a little sense if it reflected the World distorted. Our World is partially ordered and partially chaotic. Some links and dependencies are well seen and/or fixed. The other are not as obvious and may decay with time, so we can evaluate them in terms of the Half-Life Time of Knowledge. Interconnectedness can be expressed in Systemicity Rates. For different fields of knowledge and activities it is and will be different.
